First met Dr. St. Laurent, I want to say in 2016, the latter part of 2016. I came to him with what I thought were probably some mechanical issues with my gastric bypass that I had had in 2004. He ran some tests. He spent almost two hours with me that day just talking about just my whole health history and what my experience had been up to that point after gastric bypass to see what my options were. And he gave me multiple options just to think about the best option for me at that point, what was a pretty radical option, but it was one that he was willing to do if I was willing to do the long-term, post-op regimen that would go along with it. And he converted my gastric bypass to a loop DS. My results were I've lost 140 pounds. So grand total between my first surgery and then what he was able to help me fix, I've lost a total of 240 pounds over the last 16 years. And it's been quite a journey, but now that I have Dr. St. Laurent and his team helping me and supporting me, I feel that my results will be lifelong as well.
