Operating through small incisions in the abdomen, he removes a substantial portion of the stomach and staples the remainder together to form a long, thin tube or sleeve. Once confirming that the sleeve is sealed flush, the surgical instruments are removed and the incisions are sutured shut.

Posted 3.8.2017. Dr. St. Laurent gave me the tools I needed to change my life. He and his staff educated me about nutrition, my lifestyle change, and the procedure. He is very direct, honest, and so supportive. He wants to make sure all questions and concerns are addressed every time we meet and takes the time to do so. The few times I contacted his answering service after hours his response time was excellent. I had the Gastric Sleeve procedure on 9.8.2016. I have lost 92 pounds to date and still losing. I finally decided to have the gastric sleeve surgery done, and picking a doctor to do it was a big decision for me. I spent about 3 years researching gastric sleeve doctors and gastric sleeve patients stories. I finally decided to book my appointment with Dr. St Laurent.... as soon as I met him, I knew I had to look no further. He was a very nice guy, he explained everything about the procedure in detail and answered any questions / doubts that I had..... I knew I was in good hands!! I got my surgery on 2/2/17 and it was the best decision of my life!! I have had no complications with my surgery, everything has been great!!
