Are you eligible for the procedure?
 If you meet the following criteria, LAP-BAND may be the ideal solution for you.
- Your BMI is 40 or more
- You weigh at least 60 pounds more than your ideal weight
- Your BMI is 35 or more and you are suffering from serious health problems
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have a history of being overweight
- You have made serious attempts to lose weight with only short-term success
- You do not have another disease that could have caused your obesity, and you do not drink alcohol in excess
